CleanGlobe develops Turkey’s first transformerless solar inverters specially designed for thin film modules. All the research and development process is performed by its local RD solution partner Mavisis. The testing procedures started in January 2010. Another product development takes place with one of world’s biggest roof material producer, for flexible solar roof solutions.

the solar
Turkey has a very big solar energy potential compared to many European countries in terms of the solar radiation and available area. However the draft status of the new feed-in-tariff law and corresponding regulations are still not approved by the parliament. CleanGlobe follows this transition period very closely and makes suggestions for improvements together with other companies and NGO’s.

future of Turkey
CleanGlobe develops special solar projects in order to slow down global warming. EcoSchools, SolarTrees, SolarParks, specially designed educational materials, regularly organized seminars are a few examples to name. We believe solar social projects together with larger commercial projects shall go hand to hand for permanent succes and a sunny future for both Turkey and the rest of the world.
MERSIN PV SYSTEM
A pilot system has been installed by CleanGlobe team with an annual production capacity of 3.2 MWh/year for the chamber of Mechanical Engineers in Mersin. Mavisis inverters and special remote monitoring software has been used in the system. Upon the results a larger system will be installed.
PVSEC 2010
As usual, CleanGlobe team again participates 25th PV Conference and Exhibition 2010 between 6-10 September June 2010 in Valencia, Spain. The main focus will be developing large scale PV projects both in Turkey and neighbouring countries. In addition, managing partner of CleanGlobe, Dr. Baha Kuban will make two speeches during the conference about Turkish solar market.
Turkey's First Solar Power Plant!
CleanGlobe team developled together with JCI (Junior Chamber International) and Tarsus municipality Turkey's first solar power plant project. The ultimate target of the project is to reach 1.5MW installed power, the first phase will consist of 150 pieces of 1kW solar trees. More detailed information will be available online in September 2010.
PV Test Installation!
A PV system consisting of 1kW thin film modules and 1kW monocrystalline modules has been installed for a big Turkish utility company. The aim of the system is to monitor different PV technologies by simultanously measuring the meteorological data in south Turkey. Upon the results, a 450kW solar power plant will be planned.
Turkcell goes solar!
Turkcell has installed another solar powered gsm base station in southern part of Turkey. All project management and installation was performed by CleanGlobe's affliate partner, DenbaSolar. CleanGlobe and Denba will offer new innovative solar solutions to telecommunication companies.
Toyota installs PV system!
A 15kW PV system has been installed for Toyota Turkey by CleanGlobe team. The system consists of 15kW polycrystalline modules and 7x2kW grid connect inverters. A special software written exclusively for this project shows the solar data on a big LCD screen at the entrance of the building. In addition to this project, several solar powered lighting street lamps strengthen the message of using solar energy in Toyota production site.
